How do I scan a menu?
Open MenuRank AI and start a scan. You can take a photo of the menu, pick an image from your library, or scan a QR/web menu. Set or confirm your preferences — diet, allergies, health goals, budget, and meal type — then tap Rank to see your best-matched dishes first, with clear reasons.
How do subscriptions work?
MenuRank AI is free to start with a set number of scans. For people who eat out often, MenuRank AI Pro adds a generous monthly scan allowance, available as a monthly or yearly plan. Subscriptions are purchased and billed through your Apple account, the price is shown before you subscribe, and they renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings.
How do I restore purchases?
If you already subscribed — for example on another device or after reinstalling — open the app and tap Restore Purchases. This asks Apple to re-confirm your active subscription. Be sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe.
Why did I hit my scan limit?
Free scans are limited, and Pro includes a set number of scans each month. When you reach your limit, the app lets you know: free users can upgrade to Pro, and a Pro plan's monthly allowance resets at the start of your next billing period. If you think you hit a limit by mistake, email us and we'll take a look.
What if results look wrong?
MenuRank AI reads menu text with AI and estimates nutrition, tags, and rankings, so results can be incomplete or inaccurate — especially with blurry photos, unusual layouts, or handwritten menus. Try a clearer, well-lit photo of the full menu. If something still looks off, let us know at menurankai.app@gmail.com so we can improve it.
What if I have allergies?
Please don't rely on MenuRank AI for allergy safety. It estimates ingredients and allergens from menu text and cannot guarantee an item is free of any allergen. Always confirm ingredients and allergens directly with restaurant staff before ordering. See our Terms of Use for the full disclaimer.
How do I request privacy or data help?
MenuRank AI works with an anonymous device identifier and keeps data to a minimum — we don't sell your personal information. To ask a privacy question or request deletion of the server-side records tied to your anonymous identifier, email menurankai.app@gmail.com. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
